What is EXA?
Encuentro por los Animales is a meeting and learning space dedicated to animal rights activism in Latin America and the Caribbean. This event is attended by local advocates, regional and international organizations with a strong presence, as well as independent groups.
The purpose of this event is to share experiences, strengthen common objectives and continue promoting the struggle for animal liberation through talks, workshops, dialogue and meeting spaces.
We provide tools and strategies to enhance the impact of the movement and build a unified voice in defense of animals.

What we do and how we do it
We are a team of anti-speciesist women united by a common goal: to create a more just and compassionate world for all.
Our mission is clear: to create a Latin America where the rights of all animals are respected and defended. We want a world where compassion is the norm and where all sentient beings live free from suffering.
ENCUENTRO POR LOS ANIMALES
At EXA we organize conferences for activists in Latin America and the Caribbean to strengthen the animal rights movement in the region. We believe in the value of meeting in person to learn, share experiences and build support networks to reach as many activists as possible
Our conference is itinerant, taking it to different countries in the region. In addition, we offer scholarships for those facing financial barriers, ensuring that knowledge and collaboration are accessible to all.
